Generally considered to be a landmark of 20th century feminist literary criticism, Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own has known, since its publication in 1929, many afterlives across the world, especially in the Anglophone transatlantic space. This thesis aims at bringing to light and analysing A Room of One’s Own’s Anglo-American literary, critical and feminist posterity from the 1960s to the present day.
